VK-38W Premium Grade 8" Kevlar cones offer incredible strength and dispersion advantages compared to traditional woofers. Kevlar cones enable superior acoustical quality, improved mid-bass, extreme durability under high stress conditions, and are less susceptible to blowout (even when being driven at the highest levels). Heavy duty 8" woofers also enable these speakers to deliver low frequencies down to 30 Hz (+/- 3dB). VK-38W speakers include pivoting 1" liquid-cooled titanium tweeters and 2 1/2" poly mids that deliver highs beyond the audible range and smooth, accurate mid frequencies. VK-38W speakers are packaged with both white cloth decor grilles (offering a clean, classy look for those not interested in painting their grilles), and paintable metal grilles (for those who want their speakers to completely blend in with a colored wall). VK-38W white speaker baffles also augment contemporary cosmetics.
