*Horn speakers have the highest efficiency and play louder than conventional tweeters & midrange drivers. Because of this, all movie theaters exclusively use horn tweeters. All horn tweeters in our Acoustech models were exclusively designed and engineered by our BIC America, and the Hsu Research, engineering teams.
In 2003, our BIC America engineering team joined with the Hsu Research engineering team (known for manufacturing some of the highest rated subwoofers in the industry) in a goal of surpassing other manufacturers in horn speaker systems for the home. As a result, our high efficiency Acoustech Cinema horn speaker line was introduced.
This line offers beautiful cosmetics (with hand-rubbed black lacquer), carefully engineered horn drivers that can play up to levels of 116db, Hsu’s expertise in perfecting tight, accurate bass, and is sold for a fraction of the cost of other horn speaker models.
